The back-to-school debt blues hit hard on college campuses
High-level policy debates seem painfully distant and removed from the intimate and grinding day-to-day realities of student debt on campus
Good morning! As I mentioned last month, unless I hear differently from you all, I’m moving toward a Substack publication schedule in which I do 2-3 Global News Roundups each month, and then other kinds of research and writing during the off weeks. The fall semester started for me this past Monday, so this week I wrote an article on student debt, which was published in The Hill this morning. Read the full piece here.
“Congress, the Supreme Court, and the President are still wrangling about student debt relief, continuing with their hyper-partisan and high-profile contest over debt forgiveness for student borrowers. Sending you all my best wishes for a great weekend. Thanks for subscribing!
